Shoe Chapter x DJ Wasabi x Timberland
Meet dj @wasabi.fm, who was born and raised in Yokohama, Japan until the age of 14. Since 2010 she has lived in Aarhus, and with her experience in cultural urban spaces, festivals and events, she is doing her best to create and improve the culture of our city.
With an entrepreneurial mindset, she has co-founded @vve.collective (a female and non-binary DJ/VJ collective) and @klub22aarhus (a cultural concept surrounding nightlife, safer spaces, representing and giving a platform to celebrate underrepresented music genres and people).
On the decks, her tunes are a cross-pollination of genres, so you can expect a mix of edgy, bouncy and spicy beats to get your body moving, and this year you may have heard her gigs at Roskilde Festival, Northside Festival, SPOT Festival, Super 8000, Shen Mao, Institut for (x) or Volume Village – just to name a few. @wasabi.fm is wearing Timberland Premium 6 Inch Boots.
